Re-Gripping Instructions
DIY GRIPPING INSTRUCTIONS SHEET
1. Remove old grip with sharp knife and old tape.
2. Spiral new tape down the shaft for the length of the grip staring at the top, leaving a small amount of tap free at the top to wrap around the end of the shaft.
3. Remove the paper covering to expose the opposite sticky side of the double sided tape.
4. Plug the small hole in the butt of the grip with a golf tee.
5. Half fill the grip with either white spirit/petrol to lubricate the inside of the grip. Using a funnel will make this easier.
6. Pour the white spirit/Petrol onto the the double sided tape over a sink or large container.
7. Using a towel take the club in one hand and the grip in the other and slide the grip onto the end of the shaft. Push down until fully on.
8. Line up the grip using the marks at the top and bottom of the grip.
9. Remove the tee from the end of the grip, wipe the shaft down with your towel then leave to dry.
PLEASE NOTE THAT GRIP WILL TAKE AROUND 2-3 HOURS TO DRY.

THICKER GRIPS - To thicken grips add 3-4 layers of masking tape before adding the double sided tape.
THINNER GRIP - To thinnen grips gently stretch the grip further down the shaft.
AFTERCARE - As grips become dirty and shiny, apply a scouring powder and hot soapy water with a scrubbing brush. Rinse in clean water, dry by standing head up.
NOTE - Do not allow the water to enter the shaft via the small hole at the butt of the grip.
