Gore-Tex® is a patented micro-porous membrane manufactured of expanded PTFE (Polytetraflourethylene)
In somewhat simpler terms, Gore-Tex® fabric is completely windproof and water tight at the same time as it "breathes". By breathing we refer to its ability to allow the release of excess heat and moisture.

For you as a golfer, this means that you can concentrate on your game even when its raining cats and dogs on the golf course. Our garments made with Gore-Tex® materials keeps out that biting wind and rain.

As the Gore-Tex® fabric allows the release of condensation moisture, this keeps the garment lighter and you dry and warm. With a completely "sealed" fabric, on the other hand, moisture remains on the inside and a damp/chill reaction takes place which quickly results in you being very cold.
