There
are many different putters available on the market today. Ranging from
different shapes to different feel's. Ping have brought out this fantastic
range of traditional shapped putters with a steel face which feels like
an insert. The way Ping engineers have been able to do this is by inserting
an elastomer insert into the cavity of the putter which enhances feel
while maintaining the solid response of the steel face. Weight was saved
from this new cavity design which enabled the engineers to redistribute
the weight to the perimeter to ecrease each putters moment-of-inertia
for added forgiveness.
